Resources

GYM (Growing Young Movers) is an amazing resource for any teacher, but especially those who specialize in physical education. This website has tons of resources and lesson plan ideas that get your students moving which is especially important now that the rates of obesity and diabetes are rising.

NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) has anythingfrom videos, to articles, to lesson plans, you name it, all based on science concepts found in the curriculum from kindergarten all the way to grade twelve. It is free to sign up as a member and you get access to most of the information on the website to get your science brain ticking.

The NESD website has resources for every grade and almost every subject in the Saskatchewan curriculum. It was pointed out to me by my professor Donna Pym because of its excellent assessment ideas. It includes rubrics, checklists, year plans and much more. Very valuable for any Saskatchewan teacher!
